Weekly Update for 10th June 2026
It’s beginning to look a lot like summer!
There’s plenty happening across our communities this weekend, including the Horsham Matters Yard Sale, the TRBC Community Fair, a Fun Day at St Mark’s Church, and HCT’s Prayer & Praise in the Park on Sunday afternoon – bring a picnic from 4pm, with the service starting at 5pm. Please help spread the word and invite friends, family, and neighbours to come along.
Congratulations to Tom Murray on receiving the Trustee of the Year Award at Horsham District Council’s 2026 Volunteer Awards – a well-deserved recognition of his outstanding service and commitment to the community. Also in the news this week, we share an article from Turning Tides about the hidden reality of rural homelessness.
Fresh in our What’s On Guide, you’ll find details of a Men’s Conference and a Healing Conference hosted by Life Community, Storrington, as well as another opportunity to view the People’s Emergency Briefing, this time in Mannings Heath. With the World Cup kicking off next week, we also have a fantastic opportunity to connect with our neighbours and share the hope of Jesus through a range of outreach events and resources.

Prayer Focus
Prayer & Praise in the Park
Let’s pray for HCT Praise & Praise in the Park, taking place this Sunday afternoon in Horsham Park.
- Ask the Lord for opporunties to share and declare the gospel as we pray and worship together in the park.
- Pray for those who will be in the park on Sunday – that they would be drawn to listen, join in, ask questions, and encounter God’s love.
- Pray for all those taking part and working behinds the scenes to make the event happen.
- And lastly, praise the Lord for the forecasted sunshine, and pray that it continues!
